How did you feel, when you read the lyrics? In fact, this is non-fiction. The vocalist named Doug Fieger had a girlfriend when he was 17. He encountered her in 1969. He had a crush on her at their first meeting. He thought about her everyday, because he liked her too much. Then it suddenly flashed into his mind. He tried to write the lyrics about her. Another member of The Knack, Berton Averre, tried to make a song with Doug. The woman, Sharona Arperin, really exists. She is working as a real estate agent in Los Angels. This is awesome.
